These birds, while not really shy never cooperate with photographers either. I was surprised to catch this series to cleanly.

The Anhinga helped me by coming in slow, and low. I was impressed how she used her tail during the landing. She dropped it down and used it as drag. Really impressive since it was obviously part of the routine.

The difficult part is to have a space open enough to get the images. Trees, Spanish Moss, etc. are always in the way. Thanks.
