Adult Anhinga look different than most swamp birds. They can be very pretty in the right light.

However, the young ones… not so much.

Just look at that chin, and the eyes!!!! They have huge feet, and can hardly walk.

Not only that they are not very pleasant. Make matters worse, a typical brood is four chicks. The poor adults.
