This was from a small rookery in ACE Basin. I don’t think I have ever gotten any photographs there before. This is an isolated spot, with a pretty large distance of water around the trees.

Having had no luck I never stop there. As with everything, the landscape changed a little and the Egrets appear to be moving nests closer to the dry land.

Maybe next year I’ll be back earlier to see how things are.
