Shadows are on the sides of these photographs. The space in between was the opening through the brush.

There is always a chance of catching focus when a bird slips into the open so I try for these shots

We use several different telephoto lens when out and usually the only one that may grab a moving object this fast is the Sigma 150-600 (or 150-500).

I miss many more than I get LOL.
