The number of trips required to build one of their nests must be enormous.
They also bring the smallest of twigs at times too. That doesn’t help the work load.
I would like to think there is a master plan of when, and what size stick is needed on a particular trip.
Having watched this construction for a number of years I’m pretty sure that’s not the case though.
