I saw him first, how unusual. These little guys can disappear right before your eyes.

Look close and you will see the water droplets still on his feathers.

He popped up from below and looked around, every direction except at me. When he finally turned it was one of those ‘if I don’t look he’s not there’ moments.

A fraction of a second later he was back under the water, long gone.
