I bet, I have never seen them actually catch a fish, they stand so still, I miss them most of the time just standing there. What patience they have. I would definetly have to use a tripod, can hold the camera that long. 🙂

When I catch it luck and number of shots taken always comes into play. I hand hold a 600mm lens, it feels like a ton after a few minutes.

I could tell with the beautiful photos you take, I use that also. I know what you mean. I alwasy take a tri pod, but don’t always use it.
They have the longest necks and that funny bend at the top. Great photo
