We knew the Anole were doing ‘their thing’ outside the porch. We don’t always need to venture far for wildlife. In this case a potted plant of the patio turned into a battleground, that made the large vines wave all around. I did not photo the intimate moment (I have in the past LOL).
Now these guys have arrived, in Ellen’s flowers all around the patio, even a few plants inside the porch.
This one is less than one inch (2.5 cm). Some are even smaller.
There will be no re potting of plants since a guess is there are eggs in some. I’ve never seen one, and no idea how small they might be.
At this size most of the neighborhood wants to eat them, so they hide most times. Except the porch babies. They chase invisible bugs from floor to ceiling on the screens. Thankfully only one or two at a time.
How amazing and just outside your door!
Or inside depending on how you view a screened in porch 😂😂
Adorable! I’m amazed looking at them and thinking they’re less than an inch. 🙂
This is the first year we have really noticed them. Not out wandering as much I guess. They have become entertainment while on the porch, I’m watching one now 😂😂
