A few shots here that we don’t get very often. A juvenile Barred Owl with ‘Mom’ (on the left).
The adult was down closer to the swamp, on another tree. At first I didn’t know the young bird was even near. It is able to fly and feed itself now.
The young one was also releasing an Owl Pellet, which I did not catch. But still, cool.

Wonderful shots, Ted. It is always cool to be able to capture images of young creatures with a parent–they grow up so quickly and are off on their own.
