I only captured a few shots of the Heron and Eel because I wasn’t paying much attention to the scene. I knew the bird was in the low tide ‘muck’ however until I noticed Ellen was busy I was just watching Pelicans.
It was a small Eel, still it gave a pretty good fight. I assume it was in the mud around all the oyster shells.
Bright sun made for some glare and soft colors.
I don’t always check the tide charts before heading to the shore but I should. Much more closeup activity when it’s low.
