This little guy say’s it all.

This is a juvenile Black-crowned Night Heron. I’m not sure how old he was but pretty young. Which means this was his first ever hot swampy summer day.

The US is unusually hot now, and this is a humid swampy rookery. He looked pathetic, and I’m sure we did too.
