I was beginning to think there might be no Green Heron shots this spring.

Finally I found some.

These are really clever birds. They even use ‘tools’ to hunt. At times they will use sticks, drop them on the waters surface, and grab any minnows that may move.

They are another animal that will stand in one spot for hours while hunting.
