A quick mid day stop in above average heat (and that means brutal around these parts) to some marshes was uneventful.
We were nearby and even though we had no expectations it was easy so we went in.
Since we stopped by so did this local. Showing the usual curiosity the big guy swam over to see what we were doing.
He came as far as the shallows and sat in the grasses. It’s hard to tell when an Alligators eyes glaze over from boredom, but I’m pretty sure this is it. At least he was in the cool water.
I think I would prefer these guys when bored 😏. Nice shots.
Well, I don’t go poking them or anything but they make a great photo subject. Most of the time they move in slow motion so your shots are usually OK too 😂
