It’s starting to look like fall in places.

This is a salt marsh and my guess is he was heading over to cross into the large fresh water side.

Alligators are fresh  water animals but easily deal with a higher salt content for a while.

This had started off to be a single wide landscape shot.

The big guy moved in and stole the show.
