These were taken mid morning while ‘taking a break’ on a dike road. This means we have already walked the area, held the heavy cameras up for a few hours, and are now standing around just watching. I might even be using a monopod by now. It’s amazing how heavy the stuff can get…

Early feeding is done, now the leisurely strolls and occasional fish snatches is happening.

Above a jumbo shrimp could not be passed up even if the bird was not hungry. Big shrimp, and even bigger Blue Claw Crabs are here. The crabs being a favorite of the gators.
