When you first enter this swamp there is a blind spot in the corner. You can’t see there through the swamp, but many times something is there that can see you.

And yes, a Great Blue flew out. This is not unusual so I was semi-ready.

Spanish Moss drapes down all around here blocking the view.

I did get two shots through the moss before he was gone.
