White Ibis are not particularly curious as far as I know.
This one stopped digging around and watched me go by. Didn’t seem concerned at all.

Soft, white and fluffy around the head.. is that a younger one? ~or is this bird typical of a mature ibis?
A typical adult, just cleaner than usual…in the mud though. Young White Ibis are of course, not white.😂. They are a darker brown and gradually become white.
I was looking for the name of this bird and here you have it today. We are heading west and our next stop had a photo of this bird in the area we are headed to. But I had not looked it up yet and here it is. 🙂
I planned it that way.
