While we were out paddling around a cypress swamp overhead there were Osprey nests. Trees were tall, surrounded by water, perfect for Osprey. However, no photo ops.
Of course once we were back and in the swamp tree line, we were (Ellen) dive bombed. That’s where the tormenting came in. Dark and heavy trees.

One of the Osprey circled us, fast of course. I did manage a few shots in open areas.

We had a short rest stop.

Then my turn for the dive bomb as she flew off to the deeper swamp.
No great award winning shots, but a fun series for us.

Interesting, never seen/heard of that behavior before – were the two of you wearing fish hats!?!
I think it was a young one. Constant calling for an adult.
