All three shots are the same bird, same trunk, and just minutes apart.
The shots were taken as I casually walked on the dike in his direction.
Maybe because I didn’t rush and looked around for anything else to shoot he stayed right there. I gave him space and finally went on my way.

It’s getting there. We still have plenty of greens leaves in wet swamps, the marshes are getting brown though. Even in some photos there is green and brown. Typical semitropical fall. However… I had the fireplace going today 😳😳.
