I have seen these critters, they are always around, but not been publishing many of them. So below are a few shots of locals taken in the last week or so while out and about.

I’m guessing this is a loving couple. Two old timers. The smaller female is about as large as she will get. Maybe 7 feet (2.1 meters). It’s hard to tell with the big guy as he was snuggling her.


Next is a standard shot, though this one I like because the water had some movement. The gator was floating and watching, pretty much what they do.

Last is this adult swimming around the reeds. What I did not see when shooting was the Gallinule (Moor Hen) sitting in the background. Good thing gators eat less when it’s cool out. Gallinule is everybody’s favorite meal out here.
