There were a large number of Great Blues around this day last week. Most popped up and disappeared. However this one gave a nice fly by going into the cane.

I managed getting good focus on the Heron even though it was a fast flight. Once inside the cane and reeds he was invisible.

Look close at his feet. The claws are something from a nightmare.
