I was trying to come up with a title here, and came up blank. Then it occurred to me that I haven’t photographed a Squirrel in years. There may not be any on this web site at all. The title became obvious.
How sad is that.

Today’s star is the forgotten Squirrel…in an old dead swamp tree.
Every obscure squirrel 🐿 has its day. There’s a small red squirrel that visits in a nearby tree where it stashed a piece of orange under some snow in the crook of a large branch. Comes back for a ‘treat’ every few days. 🤗
😁. We have a small group that visit our feeders daily. Most times we feed ‘squirrel preferred’ seeds. Very shy, we have a large number of Owls and Hawks, but they manage to get in our yard safely.
Nice little squirrel and photographed beautifully.
Thanks so much. Made for a nice visual, sitting in the crook of that old tree.
The squirrel is cute but it’s the tree that got my attention.
That’s the reason I took it LOL. A big dead snag that’s been in this swamp forever.
