The water was a little rough, however with no glare it made for a great back drop.


He flew directly towards us, then banked to the side landing with a few others nearby.

Every year we make a trip off shore to a small key which is a Pelican rookery. Maybe 500 nests. Amazing time. It’s hard to get the tide and currents right so we may get 2 hours floating in the surf for our work, and can only get out there once or twice each mating season. Worth the hassle through.
