As I’ve written, this is the time of year Anole become a constant companion. New young show up daily, the older ones wander all around after they choose to wake up (we are up a lot earlier than they are).
These shots were taken while we were having morning coffee on our back screened in porch.

Ellen has plant pots all along the inside edge of the screen. The ‘green guys’ spend the night in the plants.

For perspective the above is the porch screen, a covered electrical outlet, and bottom left the cover of a Rubber Maid Tote used for storage. These two critters are a few days old, about a 1 1/2 inches long.
Below a very young one besides a bolt. That’s pretty small.

We have become accustomed to the small lizards over time. Cheap entertainment. Once they grow the outside world gets them. We still see them, larger, running up the trees and across the patio helping manage the insect population. Some even manage to spend a few years here.
Who knew…LOL
They are pretty cute. I really like the 2nd photo 😊
Even when bigger they are fun, but now it’s a circus 🤣. Right now having coffee, Ellen looking around the tall potted plants and checking who spent the night where.
