Pelicans are on everyone’s favorites list. Sometimes the photographs pile up and get lost in the crowd.

I went to Galveston last weekend and saw tons of pelicans swooping among the waves in the gulf or sometimes just floating. I didn’t really get any good photos of them though.
They are incredible fishers. I think getting good diving shots is really all about location. A few rookeries off the SC coast and Sanibel FL. are my go to spots.
