Away from the main Magnolia Plantation house, buried in the old (overgrown) garden area is a tiny chapel. It’s off a trail and you must walk around it to continue on.

I have wanted to grab a photo but always have a long lens mounted. There’s no room at all here. Also I never remember to ask anybody about it.

Yesterday I had a medium lens on the camera body when I came across it. Finally quick shots.

This is from the trail. You can see it’s not readily accessible.

The door is always locked. In addition it’s well maintained, even a new metal roof. There are plenty of other old plantation buildings that rarely get fixed, this one does.

Now I must remember to ask around about the history here.
