This exhibit was part of the Akin-Rhett historic house fund raiser last weekend. The painting, and supporting pieces, inside an 1800’s preserved building was one of the highlights.

The house itself has not been changed and remains in a state of preservation. This is one of my favorite places to wander and randomly shoot.
The exhibits were different in specific rooms. It was described as ‘vignettes’, which of course we photographed most all of them.
Interesting…a little sobering and quirky. What’s with the red hat, I wonder 💭
