I was searching for Green Herons but looking down this photograph presented itself.
Just enough of his nose above water to allow him to stay semi-submerged for as long as he wanted.
I can never miss a shot that’s a little different of a local.

No vegetables hanging off 👍, a big plus. Yesterday I had a ‘conversation’ with one that I first thought was a pile of debris 😂. He was covered, inches deep…and on land.
