An opportunity I have not had in a few months, a Great Blue Heron in flight.

Once the breeding season is over the Great Blues head out to marshes. They are solitary birds and while you see them often, they are off by themselves. And keeping a distance from any and all. So, it goes from have them all around, and close, to keeping far away.

This Heron was passing through a big marsh and flew low and slow past me. Just like old times LOL.
