Several photographs here taken on a walk around a local swamp on what was a dark damp morning. That type of light is great for somethings, not so much for others. After this long shooting wildlife I just go with, some shots have to be decent.
The first two images here are a Green Heron. A small pretty wading bird that’s fun to watch. Always doing something. In this case flying along making us work.

In the middle of the open water a Little Blue Heron was staring off, probably hoping to see movement in the waters surface. The green Duck Weed covering was making that hard.

Finally a landscape style of Bald Cypress trees in the swamp water. The old ramp empty with no locals sitting around.
You can see how the surface here is almost 100% covered in the green vegetation. Just on the other side of the trail another swamp is rusty red with a different vegetation.

Note; These photographs were taken with the new OM-1 mk2 camera and two different lens. A Leica 100-400 and Olympus 40-150. The birds tracked using OM AI bird tracking / auto focus. I won’t bore people with too much nerd stuff, however a few photographers have been interested in this gear, in this environment.
