Elegant. That’s a pretty good description of the Great Blue when they glide along.
I watched him coming for a long ways. Finally I grabbed a few photographs when I realized he would be passing over the alligator. That just adds to the photo, and love images that tell a story.
Nice photos! It is difficult to catch the bird in flight. They often take off abruptly before you can get the shot or turn away from you. I have many photos of heron legs, butts, another parts.
