While there’s nothing exciting happening here, except it’s a Roseate Spoonbill, I thought this is a good look at the various breeding colors.
One of the most striking things I find is their bald, smooth head, and its green tint fading into a black surface.
Their neck, back and chest are white, but when close you will see some yellow running down the front.
Pink, deep almost red shoulder patches fade in some places to orange. What a strange combination.
I don’t think it’s possible to describe them, look at this one’s feet and spoon shaped beak.
