I had been looking for the White Ibis in the wrong place. Last year I had to really work for photos of the Ibis nesting. Well, they found me this year.
First I spotted them across from the large nests. And then I walked right to a spot that was a flight path for them.
That doesn’t mean I have a thousand shots, these birds are like rockets. However I did catch more than enough to make it a good day.

Thanks. Because big rookeries are such chaos we try to have a plan/goal when we start. Like shoot more Snowy displaying, Egret chicks, etc. This day we both had commented we wanted to start with flight photos. That’s the hardest at this spot since they go short distances and drop out of the sky quickly here.
