In a town filled with hundreds of old churches St. Michael’s Anglican Church stands out.
It has been damaged by hurricanes, Civil War, and even huge earthquakes. The building has always been repaired and kept to it’s original 1681 design.
Walking past the other day we stopped in for a few quick photographs. I have a monochrome custom setting on my first OM-1 that works perfect when wandering around town.

It is. Charleston is referred to as the ‘holy city’ we have so many. Some are hundreds of years old. There was a time I would have thought them to be ancient… then we decided to photo the churches in Europe. 😃.
