This was shot along a back trail that winds through a local swamp. At a few pints you are surrounded by the wetlands. And of course purse there can be all kinds of photo ops along the way.

This tall dead tree sits in center of a small thick green pond. It’s a spot that has had more than one wading bird up high.

Since the trail bends here you can see this spot from several angles. Great for ‘holding the button down’. Even trying very hard to minimize the number of images gave me at least 50 of this juvenile Little Blue Heron. 😳
