The back property of Magnolia Plantation, alongside what was Runnymede Plantation, has several large marsh/rice fields. While a bit of a trek during winter this is a place you  most likely to find action.

This time we found multiple Cormorants on pylons, a few Egrets like this one, and of course Alligators.
