It was cold and windy, however the sun was out.
We went down to walk around the local swamp rookery to see who was home. Some Herons, Hawks, and these two below.
A little sun glare on the turtles, the swinging moss didn’t help either. Still a day out in nature is a good thing.
Best viewed large.

Yellow-bellied Slider Turtles.
Awe
They seem to be coming out to the sun a lot this year.
So nice to see.
We still have lower than normal temperatures. The sun helps though. I think we’re safe from snow now. Last week was the once every 6, 7 year coating. And it’s gone, almost always disappears in a day.
You are so very lucky. I am trying to find a home down there 🙂
This is an incredible area, and of course prices now have spiked. Personally I think the best place for anyone who likes the outdoors, and wants to have access to the services we all need, is halfway between Charleston and Savannah. Best of both worlds and almost affordable.
Thanks good to know except the south hates yankees lol
Yeah, well the South Carolina Lowcountry is filled with us. 😆
Great news 🙂
🙌🏼💛🌤️☀️We all need the sunshine—wonderful capture!
True !! thanks
