From the dike road I could hear the water gushing into the big marsh through the trunk. The tide had turned and Egrets were feeding in the shallows.
This bird was along side me, down the slope of the dike. Not wanting to scare him I slowly looked through the trunk pylon and tall grass.
Of course he knew I was there. A quick button click and I moved on.

Thanks. He was not very far and I was shooting slow. It’s common for animal/people interaction there. Both just back up and go on their way. No visibility in some places.
