This was a surprise opportunity, one that I almost missed entirely.
We were actually photographing a group of large Wood Storks that were in a small cut, almost a creek, bathing. Huge birds flapping around like tiny sparrows. Great find, and yet to be published.
While shooting the Storks this Great Blue came streaking by low. No finesse here, we both fit the bird in the view finder and pushed the button as he zoomed by. This time it worked out š.
