There’s a trail in Cypress Wetlands that ends along a boardwalk. A place where people walk with children, dogs, or just in groups.

For some reason Tricolored Herons like to sit in the brush there. And for the second year I have found a pair building a nest within arms reach of the trail.

I hope they realize it’s a bad idea before they get too far into construction like last year.
