1725 – Strawberry Chapel
Viewed large is fantastic Ted. It is quite simple compared to other churches, but it looks like it is in great condition.
It was built when this area was considered wilderness. The families that created the chapel were sent here from England and Barbados by the King of England. The Indian Tribes still owned much of the land. It’s been kept in that same condition since before our revolution against the King, through the Civil War, and up until today. Amazing to me.
