A while back, maybe a month or so, we went across the South Carolina Delta, South Santee River, and the small creeks that cut all through the delta in a flat bottom boat.
What makes this special is what you don’t see, civilization. Trees, swamps, and Class A Wilderness is the attraction. Off a few creeks you can find 300 year old plantations, one was our destination. A few places we scraped bottom, but it was really about the trip.

How wonderful to see it from the water. It must have felt like going back in time, beautiful!
It is beautiful! The Class A wilderness we can’t get to see, but the outskirts are a amazing. Class A means no people… past or present.
