The other day we went out early (ish) to the large marshes. We have hit the days of humid mornings and temperatures in the mid-high 90’s F. AKA the Summer doldrums.
Little wildlife around, though one big Alligator crossed in front of us on a dirt road, I was not ready so didn’t even try to get out of the car for a shot.
I kept my backup gear ready and that’s what I shot most with.
Below are a few random shots taken on the dirt roads and dikes. No matter what it’s always an adventure to wander around there (like a big Alligator casually walking in front of the car).

It is so nice seeing more of the swamp Ted. It looks really interesting.
What’s nice about this area is the dirt roads that go through the dikes and woods. I can have one camera with a wildlife setup, another with shorter lens ready. My days of walking with 2 cameras are gone LOL.
