The other day we drove into the marsh areas in the Donnelley wildlife area of the ACE Basin. When the temperature hover near 100 degrees even the basin gets quiet. The water is even too warm for the alligators.
The dirt roads cut over and through dikes and run between marshes. There’s always something to see, and while you’re still brave/foolish enough to take a walk the scenic photographs are everywhere.
