A stunning bird, vivid colors. At first look I thought to drop down and soften the colors. But after a second view I decided to leave the shot ‘as is’. The background colors are nothing more than small yellow flowers blooming on the green field. Shot at 380mm they are blurred by distance (bokeh).

Over the day of shooting I only caught this background maybe 4-5 times. Of course I was completely unaware of it until days later. Too bad, I like it for the portrait looks I was shooting.
