Purple Lily’s

I have always thought my backup camera, a Canon 70D,  captured colors more vibrant than any others we use.

These photographs were taken using spot metering and exposure compensation down 1/3 stop. I also used the custom mode of ‘Landscape’ from the Canon menu. Something I only do with the 70D.

The dark backgrounds were due to having a pond directly behind the plants.

The Tamron 18-400 mm lens at around 100 mm also proved it is a worthy generalist lens.
