This bird was one of several in a far marshland. I believe last year I photographed a single Glossy here for the entire year.
Until the sunlight hits them at the right angle they look to almost black.
The colors explode and shimmer in the sun.
Like all Ibis they can can go from a stationary object to a rocker ship instantly.
For these few minutes they gave me a break.
