The first of a few shots taken playing with the ‘golden hour’ of light. This is the short time right after sunrise, or right before sunset, when the light is much softer.
Here this was right before sunset and the softer sun was causing a glow on the water.
Yes, odd to even think of using an Alligator picture. However, this came about because the gator was slowly moving around me, from sun to shade, and all through sunset. He must have wanted to be in my spot for the evening. He wanted to wait me out.
The images each have a different light, and there were plenty that showed how the sun changed how he looked. I’ll post some when complete.
Besides, I think he looks good.
