Cattle Egret usually don’t stay around this particular swamp. They are more an open field type bird.

I took one look at her colors and tried to get a clear shot before she escaped. I thought if I just stayed where I was she would ultimately come close.

She won the game of hide and seek. At some point she ducked back down, and was gone.
