One of my favorites, and they have been out too far for us to photograph them lately. Wood Stork rookeries are almost always in protected and restricted areas.

I’m fairly certain these are first year juveniles. No adults were around here, this group was on it’s own.
Once close to the brink of extinction these prove things have changed in their favor.
Is this a family, Ted?
From a flock of about 40 – 50 birds. Maybe from a Stork rookery about 10k away.
